MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Muhamad Bedwan and Giuseppe Bonaiuti played their way into a spot in the quarterfinal round of the main draw after another doubles victory on day two of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's South Region tournament at the AUM Tennis Complex.

FIRST SERVE - DOUBLES
- Bedwan and Bonaiuti defeated Groenendijk/Ramirez Ribes (Lee) 8-5 to move into Sunday's quarterfinal round of doubles action.
- Thibault Jacq and Antoine Renard lost to Guedy/Iftimie (Embry-Riddle) 8-4 in Saturday's round of 16.
- Joao Guariente and Adrian Contreras also fell against Amatiste/Gonzalez (Lynn) 8-7 (7-3 tiebreaker) in the doubles round of 16.
FIRST SERVE - SINGLES
- Bonaiuti defeated Lee's Nicolas Ramirez Ribes 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 in the main draw round of 16 for the Warhawks before he fell 6-4, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.
- Titouan Le Maout was bested by Luca Mack (Valdosta State) 6-3, 6-0 in the quarterfinal round of the main draw.
- Guariente's strong tournament showing came to a close with a 6-1, 7-5 loss to Vincent Thiel (Saint Leo) in the main draw singles round of 16.
