MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team picked up a Gulf South Conference victory Saturday afternoon against The University of Alabama in Huntsville by a final score of 77-73 inside the AUM Athletics Complex.
Jordyn Maddix led AUM with 17 points and was 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Kamya Hollingshed scored 16 points and hit four three-pointers.

HIGHLIGHTS
- AUM got off to a 5-0 start with a jumper by Allasha Dudley and a three-pointer by Jemeriah Moore 90 seconds into the game.
- UAH's Madie Krieger made two free-throws to make the score 18-14 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Dudley made two free-throws to give AUM their largest lead of the game.
- The Chargers made a run in the beginning of the third quarter and Haley Nichols made three shots from the foul line to give UAH a 41-39 lead.
- AUM responded with a run of their own after Maddix buried a three-pointer, a layup by Jamya Tyus, and a and-one layup by Maddix. She made the layup and Jemeriah Moore forced a steal and Tyus converted a layup to put AUM up 51-41.
- UAH battled back and cut the lead down to five with under five minutes to go in the game.
- With 33 seconds left, UAH's Alaina Taylor made a three-pointer to put the Chargers down two and on the next possession Dudley made a jumpshot to help AUM capture the 77-73 victory.
NOTABLES
- Maddix scored a season-high of 17 points and her four three-pointers were a season-high.
- Hollingshed tied her season-high of 16 points. She scored 16 points against Spring Hill on November 11.
- Dudley tallied double figures for the 12th time this season.
- The win for AUM snapped a six-game losing streak.
- AUM scored 23 points off the 19 turnovers the Chargers had. UAH scored 13 points off AUM's 17 turnovers.
