ROME, Ga. -- Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis players Regina Urbiola and Estefania Garcia picked up a 6-1, 6-3 victory on Thursday in the opening round of the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.

Women's Open Doubles
The reigning ITA All-Americans won the first set 6-1 against Maryville University's Carolina Velazquez and Billur Gonlusen. They kept the momentum strong and earned the victory with a 6-3 second set win to clinch the match.

"I am very proud of the way the girls played today," said graduate assistant coach Benjamin Campi. "They were very solid and aggressive today and that will be the key to advancing in the tournament."
