WEEK 4 REGIONAL RANKINGS
NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's cross country team sits at No. 7 in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Region Poll, as released by the coaches association in week four of the season.
The Warhawks raced to ninth place overall at the Florida State University Invitational, and freshman
Basil Koech turned in the school's third-fastest 8K time. Koech finished seventh overall in a field of 353 runners with a time of 24:56.50. The race also marked the second time this season Koech finished inside a race's Top 10 individuals.
Brady Thomas rounded out AUM's scoring five with a time of 26:33.00 as he finished 103rd overall and also ran the second-fastest 8K time of his AUM career.
The Warhawks travel to Charlotte, N.C. to race in the Queens University of Charlotte Royals Challenge on Friday, Oct. 6 at McAlpine Creek Park.
