CARROLLTON, Ga. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team dropped their first Gulf South Conference game on Saturday afternoon at the University of West Georgia by a final score of 76-55 inside The Coliseum.
Jalil Robinson and Malachi Rhodes scored 15 points each leading the scoring column for the Warhawks.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Gilbert Croley scored the first points for AUM with just under 17 minutes remaining in the opening half to make it 3-2 in favor of the Wolves.
- Rhodes made a layup at the 10 minute mark to bring the score to 15-12.
- The Wolves grew the lead and carried a 36-24 lead at the break after Jalen Gaston knocked in a three-pointer in the final seconds of the first half.
- Robinson converted an and-one opportunity with 14:20 to go in the game to cut the West Georgia lead down to six at 44-38.
- UWG regrouped and had a 12-4 run to take control of the game with a 56-42 lead.
- AUM was not able to get back into the game and West Georgia secured the 76-55 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Travis Anderson played in his first game of the season and scored three points in 17 minutes of action. He added three rebounds.
- Gaston and Robinson dished out three assists each.
- Gaston brought down a season-high of nine rebounds. He has had nine or more rebounds in five games at AUM.
- Rhodes secured six rebounds and and had a pair of steals.
- Jelal Williams chipped in with five points and gathered four rebounds.
