Jalil Robinson poured in a season-high 23 points,
Malachi Rhodes added 17 points, and
Chappelle Whitney tallied his first collegiate double-double as the Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team secured its first win in Gulf South Conference play.
Robinson added six rebounds and eight assists, Rhodes went 8-of-12 from the field, and Whitney scored 13 points, added 13 rebounds, and dished out four assists.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Six early points from Rhodes helped spark a 14-2 run to open the game for the Warhawks.
- AUM continued to build the lead, as a Whitney layup made it 34-14 in favor of the home team with just over three minutes left in the opening half.
- Robinson got a tough jumper to fall three seconds before the break as the Warhawks led 39-23 at the halftime intermission.
- A Malachi Rhodes three-point jumper at the 16:21 mark of the second half gave AUM its largest lead the night at 21 points.
- The Hawks responded, however, with a 15-3 run to trim the lead to nine over the next six minutes.
- A Deven Tucker jumper and a Robinson bucket helped AUM push the lead back to 14, 65-51, with two minutes to play to help seal the win.

- The Warhawks shot 63 percent from the field in the first half and twice notched their largest lead of the night, 20 points, in the opening 20 minutes.
- Whitney posted his first collegiate double-double and also snared the most rebounds by a Warhawk this season.
- Robinson poured in a season-high 23 points and made it seven consecutive games scoring in double figures to open the year.
- Robinson's eight assists are also a season-best by a Warhawk.
- AUM shot 53 percent for the game, the highest mark of the year for the black and orange.
