WORDS FROM THE WARHAWKS
"I thought we put together a good team win tonight," said head coach
Marty Lovrich. "We obviously are not pleased with the errors and we need to clean those up defensively, but I thought our hitters took some positive steps tonight. We talked before the game about focusing on having better at-bats and letting the results come with that. [Andrew] Cronan really battled for us on the mound tonight. He was not feeling well and did not have his best stuff but he really worked through it. His last 30-pitch stretch was big to get us into the sixth inning, and we had some guys step up out of the bullpen. Every game you can get in the GSC is a good win, and we needed a win in a bad way to get some confidence back."
