PENSACOLA, Fla - The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team was defeated on Saturday afternoon at Valdosta State University at The Complex in Gulf South Conference action.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Jordyn Maddix made a layup with 1:39 left in the first quarter to give AUM a two point advantage at 14-12.
- A three-pointer and a layup by Valdosta State put them up 17-14 at the end of the first quarter.
- The Lady Blazers began to score in bunches in the second quarter by outscoring AUM 20-12 in the second quarter and take a 37-26 lead at halftime.
- A three-pointer by Kamya Hollingshed got AUM within four points in the third quarter but, Valdosta went on a run to take a 60-43 lead at the end of the third.
- Valdosta State pushed the lead to 25 points early in the fourth but, AUM pushed back to cut it to 13 points as VSU got the 75-62 win.
NOTABLES
- Kamya Hollingshed was 6-of-13 from beyond the arc and scored 20 points.
- Allasha Dudley dropped 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field.
- AUM only made the free-throw line five times and converted on four shots.
- Valdosta State's Emma Martin scored 26 points and was 9-of-12 from the field including eight shots from long range.
