HIGHLIGHTS

  • Jarren Wright singled, Nick Freeman walked, and Jackson Ceman singled as AUM loaded the bases in the top of the third inning with just one out, but was unable to capitalize.
  • West Alabama immediately responded as a base hit, a hit batsman, and a three-run home run put the Tigers up 3-0 after four.

  • Clark doubled to lead off the sixth inning, and a Wright RBI single with two outs plated the first run of the game for the visitors.
  • AUM threatened again in the eighth with runners as first and second and nobody out, but the Tigers notched three straight outs to hang another zero on the scoreboard.
  • The Warhawks got an RBI single from Zach Dew to add a run in the ninth inning and AUM again loaded the bases with two outs, but the Tigers closed the door on the comeback attempt.
