MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The University of Montevallo completed the weekend sweep against the Auburn University at Montgomery baseball team on Sunday afternoon after putting up double-digit runs for the 14th time this season.
The Warhawks hit a pair of home runs in the loss.
Kasey Clark clubbed a three-run homer, his third of the season, and
Cooper Doughman hit a solo homer, his second of the season.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Montevallo opened up a 3-0 lead thanks to a run scored on a double play, a Sam Kuchinski double, and an Asa Awbrey sacrifice fly.
- Cole Kehoe singled to lead off the third, Jackson Ceman smacked a back-side base hit, and Clark tied the game with a three-run homer that tied the game 3-3 after three innings or work.
- Ben Teel hit his ninth homer of the season for the Falcons in the fourth inning as UM jumped back in front 6-3.
- A four-run fifth inning, helped by a throwing error by the Warhawks and a bases-loaded walk, made it 10-3 Falcons.
- Right-handed hitter Cooper Doughman hit a home run to the opposite field in the sixth to get a run back for the Warhawks.
- Ceman and Clark added back-to-back RBI singles in the seventh frame to make it 11-6, but the Falcons scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to secure the win.
ON THE MOUND
- Grant Hickman (2-2) suffered the loss in his second career start for the Warhawks. He allowed six earned runs and five walks in four innings.
- Michael Myers allowed a run in 1.2 innings of relief with two strikeouts.
- Levi Clark pitched a scoreless two-thirds of an inning, while Tommy Vickers logged one relief inning and gave up a run on two hits.
NOTABLES
- Clark drove in four runs and hit his third round-tripper of the campaign. Clark leads the team with 26 RBIs.
- Both of Doughman's home runs this season came this weekend against Montevallo and were both solo home runs.
- Clark, Doughman, and Jackson Ceman (2-for-5) all collected multi-hit games for AUM.
