Clay Weatherly pitched four innings and notched his first win of the season and the Warhawks scored double-digit runs for the eighth time this season.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Jackson Ceman worked a one-out walk, stole second base, and scored on a Cooper Doughman sacrifice fly as AUM took a 1-0 lead after an inning.
- The Warhawks kept adding on in the second, as Nick Freeman and Jackson Ceman each posted an RBI on a bases-loaded walk to make it 3-0 AUM.
- Kasey Clark tacked on a two-RBI double and Brody Syer added an RBI groundout as AUM built a 6-0 lead in the second inning.Â
- Brett Pitts and Ceman each added RBI singles in the third frame as AUM built an 8-3 advantage.
- Two more AUM runs scored on a Spring Hill miscue trying to turn a double play in the fourth inning.Â
- The Badgers scored six combined unanswered runs in the fifth, sixth, and ninth innings, but the Warhawks were able to complete the comeback.
ON THE MOUNDÂ
- Clay Weatherly (1-2) drew the midweek start and allowed three earned runs on six hits in four innings to earn the win. He walked one batter and struck out three.
- Michael Myers allowed a single run on three hits with one strikeout in 2.1 innings of relief.
- Clay Slagle (1) notched the final out of the game, a fly out to center, to earn the save.
NOTABLES
- Clark hit his 10th double and posted his 12th multi-hit game, both tops on the team.
- Wright added a double and two singles for his eighth multi-hit game of the season. The game also marked the fourth time he has collected three or more hits.
- Syer drew his 25th walk of the season and marked his 16th game with at least one walk drawn.Â
- Myers' relief appearance marked the ninth such time this season he has worked more than one relief inning in a game.
UP NEXT
The Warhawks return home to host a Gulf South Conference weekend series against Delta State. The series begins Friday, March 24 with a doubleheader at 1 p.m., followed by a single game on Saturday, March 25.
