MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team is set to kickoff the 2023 Gulf South Conference Championships as the No. 3 seed taking on the No. 6 seed Mississippi College at 2:30 p.m. at the O'Connor Tennis Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Warhawks boast a 14-7 overall record and a 7-2 GSC record into postseason play. The three seed is the highest seed AUM has been in the GSC Championship since joining the conference. AUM has four wins over teams that are nationally ranked highlighted by wins over No. 5 University of West Alabama and most recently knocking off No. 10 Lee University 6-1.
Adrian Contreras,
Titouan Le Maout,
Muhamad Bedwan, and
Thibault Jacq have double digit wins in singles matches with Le Maout and Contreras having 16 each.
Bedwan and
Giuseppe Bonaiuti hoist a 7-3 record in doubles action entering the tournament.
