MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team is prepared to begin the 2023 Gulf South Conference Championships on Thursday, April 20 as the No. 2 seed taking on the No. 7 seed University of Montevallo at 10 a.m. at the O'Connor Tennis Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Warhawks hold a 17-4 overall record and are 9-1 in GSC action. AUM has five wins over teams that are nationally ranked including a victory over No. 5 University of North Georgia.
Estefania Garcia,
Ane Ibarra,
Regina Urbiola, and
Ana Villalvazo have produced double digit wins in singles play. Villalvazo has an impressive record of 15-2 and Ibarra is a perfect 13-0.
Urbiola and Garcia have been dominant in doubles this season with a 15-3 record. The duo is ranked as the No. 15 doubles team in the nation.

- The University of West Alabama is currently in fifth place in the region with a 16-5 overall record.
