CLINTON, Miss. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team dropped a series-deciding game against No. 21 Mississippi College on Sunday afternoon at the MC Softball Complex 5-1 in a Gulf South Conference series.

HIGHLIGHTS 
	- The Warhawks struck first in the first frame when Chloe Baynes scored on a wild pitch. 
 
	- MC scored three runs in the second inning to take a 3-1 lead off a two RBI double and a sacrifice bunt. 
 
	- MC added insurance runs in the fourth and sixth innings to stretch the lead to 5-1. 
 
	- AUM had a chance in the sixth inning to do some damage with three hits, however left two runners on base and did not plate a run. 
 
IN THE CIRCLE
	- Avery Dickerson got the start and tossed 3.1 innings and gave up three runs on five hits. 
 
	- Rebecca Komers and Morgan Ferguson came in relief and worked the final 2.2 innings. Both gave up one run and Ferguson struck two batters out. 
 
NOTABLES
	- Allie Miller has reached base in 20 consecutive games. 
 
	- Lexi Love is currently on a seven-game hit streak. 
 
	- Olivia Aycock batted 2-for-3 and has 12 games with multiple hits. 
 
	- Baynes went 2-for-4 on the day and has had 16 multi-hit games.
