INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team has earned a bid in the 2023 NCAA Division II South Regional in Saint Leo, Florida for the third consecutive season. The four-team double elimination bracket will begin on Thursday, May 11 against Saint Leo University at 11 a.m. (CT) at the University Softball Stadium.
The Saint Leo regional will consist of the No. 2 seed Saint Leo, No. 3 seed Nova Southeastern University, No. 6 seed University of West Alabama, and the Warhawks as the No. 7 seed.
AUM brings in a 35-17 record into the tournament and finished at 22-7 in the Gulf South Conference portion of the schedule. They have defeated four teams that earned a spot in the NCAA Division II Tournament including No. 1 University of North Georgia, No. 4 University of Alabama in Huntsville, No. 21 Mississippi College, and Columbus State University this season.

Chloe Baynes owns the teams best batting average at .410 with 68 hits and has scored 45 runs.
Chloe Derrick has tallied a team-high of 13 homers this year and
Gia Martin has 12 home runs.
Kat Fallen owns a team-high of 54 RBIs.
Avery Dickerson leads the AUM pitchers with an ERA of 2.60 and has a 15-5 record in the circle after tossing 118.2 innings.
Morgan Ferguson has thrown 127 innings this season and has 99 strikeouts with a 12-6 record.
