MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Auburn University at Montgomery volleyball team completed the season sweep over Albany State University on Friday evening inside the AUM Athletics Complex on the second day of the Warhawk Invitational with a 3-0 victory.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Ruth Sconocchini opened the scoring for both teams with a kill from Amber Bretwisch. AUM and ASU battled back-and-forth in the early goings, but a 12-4 run by the Warhawks gave them control. The Golden Rams found a way to make it closer, but a service error from ASU gave AUM a 25-20 first set victory.
- The second set was similar to the first as Albany State kept it close, until a 9-2 rally gave AUM a 14-6 advantage. AUM built the lead to 23-11 and the Golden Rams responded with some momentum, but a kill by Sconocchini gave AUM the second set and took a 2-0 lead in the match.
- AUM's Keren Santana delivered a kill with the score knotted up at 4. Then back-to-back kills by Greta Corrente Gave AUM a 6-4 lead. Later in the set, a 10-0 rally from AUM gave them control of the set and AUM won the set 25-19.
STATS OF THE MATCH
- Sconocchini led AUM in kills with 12 and posted four digs.
- Giulia Santuari chipped in with nine kills.
- Bretwisch tallied 16 assists and had five digs defensively. Savannah Sebek dished out 11 assists.
- Kaleigh Fitzgerald had nine digs on the defensive side and had a pair of service aces.

The Warhawks are back in action on Saturday, September 16 against the Muleriders of Southern Arkasnas University at 3:00 p.m. in the AUM Athletics Complex.
