ROME, Ga. -- A brace from Nick Atkinson, goals from Logan Roach and Adam Hanson, and the first collegiate point from Simon Greer helped catapult the Auburn University at Montgomery men's soccer team to a 4-1 win over Shorter University and weekend sweep in Gulf South Conference play.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Warhawks applied a lot of early pressure in the match and were rewarded for it.
- In the sixth minute, Franck Kouentchi drew a penalty and Logan Roach stepped up to the penalty spot and put AUM in front 1-0.
- Adam Hanson made it 2-0 for the visitors as he finished off a pass from Kouentchi.
- A goal from Nick Atkinson in the 17th minute capped a first-half flurry as AUM led 3-0 at the break.
- Shorter's Mattia Maiello put the Hawks on the board in the 61st minute
- The match's final tally came in the 69th minute when Simon Greer slotted a pass to Atkinson, who found the back of the net to make it a brace for the junior midfielder.
