HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's soccer team posted its sixth shutout of the season and improved to 4-0-2 on the road as the Warhawks played to a 0-0 draw against the University of Alabama in Huntsville on Friday night in the Rocket City.

HIGHLIGHTS
- A pair of early saves from AUM goalkeeper William Blake kept the Chargers off the scoreboard in the opening 10 minutes of the match.
- Cole Farrior, Andrew Strait, Adam Hanson, and Nick Atkinson all tallied a shot in the first half, but neither team was able to find a goal.
- One of the best chances for the Warhawks to find the back of the net came in the 81st minute.
- After a UAH red card left AUM a man up for the final 15 minutes of the match, Carlo Russo nearly put AUM in front.
- Off an AUM corner kick, the ball found Russo and his shot narrowly missed wide left.
- Each side had an errant shot in the closing minutes of the contest as the two teams finished 90 minutes in a 0-0 tie.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Warhawks took nine shots to just six for the Chargers.
- William Blake made a pair of early saves in goal and posted his fifth shutout. Blake continued to pace the GSC in shutouts (5), goals-against average (.27), and save percentage (.923).
- Six cards were issued in the match, as the Chargers received three yellow cards and one red card.

Matthew Thorne said. "These local derbies are so tight at times. I felt like we created enough to win the match, but it just wasn't meant to be. Happy we posted another clean sheet.
