HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team trailed by 14 points at the halftime break at The University of Alabama in Huntsville and outscored the Chargers 52-27 in the second half to secure the 71-60 victory in Gulf South Conference action.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Chargers scored the first two baskets of the game with layups to take a 4-0 lead at the 7:10 mark in the opening quarter.
- UAH's Andie Flatgard scored a two three-pointers part of a 12-0 run as they took a 21-11 lead after the first quarter.
- AUM's defense stepped up in the second quarter only allowing 12 points, but the offense struggled to get going as they only scored eight points. UAH took a 33-19 lead at halftime.
- The two teams traded buckets in the early stages of the second half, but Tian Addison and Allasha Dudley found the net on three-pointers which helped trim the lead to 10 points at the 6:45 mark.
- Danielle Luckey scored a layup to spark a 14-2 run, which tied the game up after Dudley made a layup. Dudley connected on a three-pointer at the 1:41 mark as AUM captured the lead for the first time in the game at 46-43.
- Addison scored 19 of AUM's 23 points in the fourth quarter and made her fifth shot from beyond the arc with just under three minutes to go to give AUM a 63-58 lead.
- The Warhawks went 6-for-6 down the stretch at the charity stripe as they put the game away and won 71-60 on the road.
NOTABLES
- Addison had a career-high of 27 points and scored double-digits for the sixth time this season.
- Dudley scored 21 points and was 8-for-15 from the field and grabbed six rebounds. She has reached double-digits 11 times this season. She has scored 20 points or more in six contests.
- Luckey recorded her seventh double-double this season with 10 points and 13 boards. She also had three steals and blocked a shot.
- Brianna Sanchez posted four points, grabbed six rebounds, and had a pair of steals.
- AUM outscored UAH in the paint 38-28.

"Arguably our worst first half of the season" head coach
Jon Plefka said. "However, it was completely made up for by best second half. Beyond proud of our team to battle short handed on the road and get the win."
