MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Auburn University at Montgomery continued the GSC-SSC Crossover Classic on Saturday with a 65-44 loss to Nova Southeastern at the AUM Athletics Complex. 

The Warhawks (0-2, 0-0) and the Sharks (2-0, 0-0) were tied at six halfway through the first quarter after a low-scoring start in the final game of the GSC-SSC Crossover Classic. Nova Southeastern would end the quarter with a lead 14-10 over AUM. The Sharks controlled a 13-point lead and went into the half up 34-21.

Coming out of the locker room, the Warhawks cut the deficit down to just nine points. AUM shot close to 60% in that third quarter to gain momentum headed into the fourth quarter.  

The Sharks would go on a 17-3 run in the final quarter to close out the game. AUM finished the game with 31 turnovers that converted into 27 points for Nova Southeastern. Despite the Warhawks holding the Sharks to 2-25 from the 3-point line, it wouldn't be enough in Saturday's game. 

Samya Brooks was the highest point scorer for the Warhawks with 10 while shooting 4-6 from the field. Danielle Luckey added five points and seven rebounds. 

AUM will return to action on the road at Arkansas Monticello, with tip-off set for 5 p.m.
