Malachi Rhodes went 10-for-14 from the floor and posted a season-high 26 points, but the Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team fell 88-68 to Mississippi College in Gulf South Conference action on Thursday night.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Warhawks came out of the gate firing on all cylinders, as Rhodes rattled off 13 of AUM's first 15 points.
- Rhodes converted a three-pointer, a pair of free throws, a dunk, and a trio of tough jumpers in his blazing start to the contest.
- AUM jumped out to a 21-8 lead, the largest of the night, with 11:24 to go in the first half.
- Mississippi College's Rashad Bolden, the leading scorer in NCAA Division II basketball, scored 11 points as part of a 26-10 close to the first half that saw the Choctaws lead 34-31 at the break.
- A three-point play from Rhodes and a Travis Anderson jumper helped AUM use an 11-4 spurt to start the second half and build a four-point lead.
- Cam Brown knocked down a three-point basket for the Choctaws with 11:26 to play to take the lead back to 46-44, and MC raced away down the stretch for an 88-68 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- MC out-rebounded AUM 34-28 for the contest, but AUM won the battle on the offensive glass 11-10.
- Bolden made it back-to-back 30-plus point games for the Choctaws and totaled his fifth 30-point game of the season.
- Bolden leads the GSC and the rest of NCAA Division II in points per game at 25.1.
- Rhodes put up his season-high with 26 points on an efficient 10-of-14 shooting performance.
- It was the second 20-point game of Rhodes' season and his 13th double-figure scoring game of the year.
