MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Payte Williams fired four scoreless innings in his first start for the Auburn University at Montgomery baseball team, and six different Warhawks recorded at least one RBI en route to a 7-1 win over Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the series finale.

HIGHLIGHTS
- RH Frankland worked a bases-loaded walk, Cooper Doughman dumped an RBI single into center, and JC Tunnell also drew a bases-loaded walk to give the Warhawks a 3-0 advantage after one inning of play.
- AUM tacked on three more runs in the third inning to take control of the game. With the bases loaded once again, Nick Freeman walked with the bases full to make it 4-0.
- Tyrese Rooks promptly smacked an RBI single to center to make it 5-0, and Brendan York was hit by a pitch to bring home another run and make it 6-0.
- Tunnell's fourth-inning RBI single added some insurance for the Warhawks, and the pitching staff shut down the Eagles to seal the win.
ON THE MOUND
- Williams logged 4.0 shutout frames in his first Warhawk start. He yielded three hits and two walks and struck out four.
- Clay Weatherly allowed a hit and walk but struck out two hitters in the fifth inning.
- Lucas Baggett picked up the win, as he struck out a pair and allowed just one baserunner in two innings of relief.
- Michael Myers also allowed one runner with a strikeout in two relief innings to close out the game.
NOTABLES:
- Rooks, York, Doughman, McWhorter, Tunnell, and Grier all recorded at least one multi-hit game in the three-game series.
- Warhawk starting pitchers combined to allow just three earned runs in 16.2 innings on the weekend.
- The AUM pitching staff recorded 25 strikeouts between the three games.
- Baggett allowed just one hit against four strikeouts in two relief appearances that spanned 3.1 innings of work.
- York hit .444 for the series (4-for-9), drove in three, scored a run, walked twice, was hit by a pitch, and recorded a pair of multi-hit games.
- Rooks hit .428 (6-for-14) with a double, two RBIs, three runs scored, and a stolen base.
- Tunnell hit .363 for the weekend (4-for-11) with two runs, two RBIs, a stolen base, and two multi-hit games over the weekend.
- Frankland and Doughman both homered in the series.
