JACKSON, Tenn. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team got a season-high 23 points from
Jalil Robinson, including a game-winning layup with 0.3 seconds left on the clock, as the Warhawks snapped a three-game losing streak with a 79-78 victory over Union University.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Union built a 25-15 lead to the 7:26 mark of the first half.
- Jalil Robinson rattled off eight straight points as part of a 12-2 run to tie the game 27-27 with three minutes to go before the break.
- A pair of Devaki Garr foul shots gave Union a 35-30 lead at the halftime intermission.
- The Bulldogs built a 15-point lead, the largest of the night, to lead 63-48 with 9:19 to play in regulation.
- The Warhawks trimmed the lead to eight with five minutes remaining on a Robinson bucket to vault themselves back into the game.
- Robinson attacked the basket for a layup to cut the Union lead to one with 1:45 to go, and Malachi Rhodes followed with an offensive rebound and layup to give AUM a 75-74 advantage with 58 seconds remaining.
- After Union converted a three-point play, Rhodes again tied the game, this time with 15 seconds left.
- Union's Lane Sarver was fouled attempting a three-pointer with 4.5 seconds left to play, but he converted just one of three free throw attempts to keep the door open for the Warhawks.
- Robinson drove the ball right through the Union defense and got a layup to fall as time expired.
- After a review, officials added 0.3 seconds back to the game clock, but a long heave was no good as AUM completed the come-from-behind win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Robinson tied his season-high of 23 points and scored 20-plus points for the fourth time this season.
- Union out-rebounded AUM 40-35, but the Warhawks won the points in the paint battle 54-26.
- AUM converted just three three-pointers compared to 10 from the Bulldogs.
- The Warhawks scored 25 points off 21 Union turnovers.
- AUM posted its 14th game this season with double-digit steals, as the Warhawks converted 11 steals in the game.
- Jalen Gaston (13 points), Rhodes (11 points), Joseph Lanzi (11 points), and Sam Youngblood (10 points) all added double-digit scoring efforts for the black and orange.
