- Guariente and Hammon had a battle on the first court in singles and Guariente came out on top 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.
- Bonaiuti dropped court two against Igbinovia 7-5, 7-5 on the second court.
- Contreras won as Ishikawa had to retire on the third court in the third set.
- Le Maout handled Nuutti Jokinen 6-3, 6-4 on court four.
- Verdasco picked up a win on the fifth court over Bonev 6-3, 6-3.
- Marquez suffered a loss on the sixth court 5-7, 7-5, 6-2.
