NFCA Top 25 Poll
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team stayed put at No. 17 in the latest edition in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Poll.
The Warhawks are coming off of a nonconference doubleheader sweep over The University of Alabama in Huntsville and own a 29-9 overall record and have a 16-5 record in Gulf South Conference action.
They have significant wins over University of North Georgia, Mississippi College, Rollins College, and Nova Southeastern University.
Alanna Goble (11-3) has an ERA of 2.70 in 16 appearances this season in the circle. She has struck out 96 batters.
Brinkley Yevak (6-1) has a 2.82 ERA and has tossed a pair of no-hitters this season.
Chloe Baynes has been leading the Warhawk bats with 66 hits and scratched 50 runs.
Kat Fallen has a team-high of 53 runs batted in and
Molly Cobb has driven in 47 runs.
Infielder
Gia Martin has homered 16 times this season and has scored 40 runs this year. She has driven in 45 runs.
The Warhawks host the University of West Georgia at the AUM Softball Complex in a three-game series beginning on Friday, April 12 at 5 p.m. The doubleheader will be Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m.
