BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference has released its annual men's basketball preseason awards, which includes Auburn University at Montgomery seniors Jayden Doyle, Elhadji Thiam, and Ti'Avain Scruggs being named to the 2025-26 GSC Men's Basketball Newcomers to Watch list.
 
The Warhawks, tabbed 10th in the preseason poll, return a solid core from last season's squad while introducing several new faces ready to make an impact in 2025-26.
 
JAYDEN DOYLE
Doyle, a senior guard from Knoxville, Tenn., joins AUM after competing at Monmouth University. The versatile playmaker brings strong scoring and defensive presence to the Warhawks' backcourt rotation.
 
ELHADJI THIAM
Thiam, a senior forward from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, transfers from Florida Tech. His length and rebounding ability are expected to bolster AUM's interior defense and frontcourt production.
 
TI'AVAIN SCRUGGS
Scruggs, a senior forward from Huntsville, Ala., comes to AUM from D'Youville University. Known for his physicality and leadership, Scruggs adds depth and experience to the Warhawks' forward unit.
