MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks women's basketball team (0-9, GSC: 0-3) fell to the Mississippi College Choctaws (3-5, GSC: 2-1) 61-55 on Thursday evening from the AUM Athletics Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
Nevaeh Small was the first to score as she won the jumpball herself before sinking a jumpshot in the paint. Fieldgoals from
Gabby Litvak and
Samya Brooks brought AUM ahead 8-2. The Choctaws responded, but Litvak's six points kept the orange and black ahead 12-9 at the end of the first quarter.

Second Quarter
Mississippi College stole the lead at 18-17 after a bucket from Karly Ivy.
Keziah Seay's free throw evened the score at 20 apiece, but the visitors would go on to secure a 24-22 lead going into halftime.

Third Quarter
Four Warhawks scored in the third quarter, but the Choctaws were able to pick up some momentum after the first half. Valencia McFall led the charge, scoring eight points for the opponents. The third quarter ended with AUM trailing 42-38.

Fourth Quarter
Tamora Brown had a big final quarter for the Warhawks. She posted 12 of AUM's 17 points while shooting 50 percent from the field. Despite her efforts, the Choctaws walked away with a 61-55 win.
