Montgomery, Ala. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) has released its annual Academic All-District Team following the conclusion of the 2025 volleyball season, and Auburn University at Montgomery is represented by four Warhawks on this year's list:
Kathryn Lupo,
Kendall McCain,
Kiara Vega, and
Anyaliz Rodriguez.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District honors, athletes must appear in at least 90 percent of their team's matches or start at least two-thirds of them. All nominees must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, and true freshmen are ineligible due to experience requirements.
ANYALIZ RODRIGUEZ
Senior | Outside Hitter | Interdisciplinary Studies | 4.00 GPA
Rodriguez competed in 98 sets during the 2025 season, recording 272 kills while averaging four kills per set. She also added 49 blocks, serving as a key offensive contributor for the Warhawks. Her perfect 4.00 GPA in Interdisciplinary Studies highlights her excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
KIARA VEGA
Senior | Setter | Interdisciplinary Studies | 3.95 GPA
Vega was one of three Warhawks to compete in all 102 sets during the 2025 season, totaling 410 assists while averaging four assists per set. She also contributed 208 digs, showcasing her all-around impact on the court. Vega maintained a 3.95 GPA in Interdisciplinary Studies, reflecting her strong academic commitment.
KENDALL MCCAIN
Senior | Outside Hitter | Accounting | 3.75 GPA
McCain was one of three Warhawks to compete in all 102 sets during the 2025 season, leading AUM with 373 kills while averaging over three kills per set. She also recorded 238 digs, earned Gulf South Conference Player of the Week honors, and surpassed the 1,000-career-kill milestone. In the classroom, McCain posted a 3.75 GPA as an Accounting major.
KATHRYN LUPO
Senior | Libero/Defensive Specialist | Finance | 3.75 GPA
Lupo competed in 85 sets for the Warhawks during the 2025 season, recording 129 digs while providing steady defensive play in the back row. She earned a 3.75 GPA as a Finance major, reflecting her discipline both on the court and in the classroom.
