JACKSON, Tenn. – Auburn University at Montgomery Women's Basketball (10-12, 8-9) fell on Saturday afternoon at Union 92-69.
The Warhawk struggled offensively and shot 40% while committing 26 turnovers on Saturday.
AUM was led by
Allasha Dudley with 16 points but received help from three other double figure scorers.
The Warhawks trailed early on and were outscored 21-11 in the first quarter. AUM went into the half down 41-28 to the top ranked team in the GSC, Union (15-1, 20-3).
In the third, Union stretched the lead out to a 20-point advantage. AUM was held to 17 points in the quarter and trailed 69-45 headed into the fourth.
The Warhawks would outscore Union in fourth, 24-23 but it wouldn't be enough to mount a comeback. AUM eventually fell 92-69 on the road at Union on Saturday afternoon
AUM will stay on the road and face Montevallo on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 PM.
