AUM improved to 29-9 overall and  20-7 in Gulf South Conference play. The Warhawks won their fifth-consecutive series and grabbed sole possession of first place in the GSC with two weeks remaining.

Game 1 – AUM 5, Union 0

AUM got ahead early with a run in the first inning. Chloe Baynes opened the game with a single and was scored on a RBI from Lexi Love

In the fourth and fifth innings, the Warhawks extended the lead with a pair of runs. AUM strung together four consecutive, two-out hits to score two in the fourth. Meredith Kellum picked up two RBIs. In the fifth, Sneed singled and stole two bases to allow for the RBI by Haley Ann Frank

Chelisa Newsome started for AUM and picked up her 12th win of the season after she threw seven scoreless innings for the team's 12th shutout of the season as well. Newsome totaled seven strikeouts in game one on Saturday.

Offensively the Warhawks were led by Baynes, Rebecca Komers and Lexie Bullock all with two hits. Kellum drove in a pair of runs. Sneed and Baynes both stole a pair of bases as well.

Game 2 – AUM 6, Union 4

Once again AUM started the top of the first inning with a run, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to respond and score their first run of the series.

Union scored two more in the third inning to take their first lead of the series as well, 3-1.

In the seventh, Komers started the inning off with a double off the top of the wall and scored on another 2--run homer, this time by Cauley to put the Warhawks in front.
