BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery Women's Soccer team was tabbed twelfth in the Gulf South Conference Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference announced Thursday. In addition, Aisling Roche, Aoibheann Rankin and Lacie Goodale were named to the Preseason Newcomer Watchlist. 
 
AUM earned 27 points in the coaches' poll. West Florida was selected first with 144 points and 12 first-place votes, respectively.
 
The Warhawks return nine players from the 2024 roster and welcome in 12 newcomers.
 
Aisling Roche, Aoibheann Rankin and Lacie Goodale were named to the Preseason Newcomer Watchlist.
 
Roche is a freshman from Wexford, Ireland. While Rankin joins the Warhawks as a freshman from Killinick, Ireland. Lastly a native of Pace, Fla., Lacie Goodale earned the final spot for AUM on the Newcomer Watchlist.
 
AUM enters its fifth season under Herrity and starts off the 2025 campaign with three straight road matchups. The Warhawks will visit Melbourne, Fla. to face Florida Tech on Sept. 5 and stay on the road for the Sept. 8 matchup at Edward Waters in Jacksonville, Fla. and the Sept. 12 matchup at Coker.
