FAIRFIELD, Ala. — The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks volleyball team (2-16, GSC: 0-7 GSC) lost 3-1 to Miles (17-6, SIAC: 9-2) on Wednesday after taking the opening set 25-17.

HOW IT HAPPENED
SET 1
The Warhawks turned the first set with eight straight points after trailing 15-13, with
Mya Lacey serving four aces and
Jamya Powell adding two kills as the orange and black moved ahead 21-15.
Chelsea Daffin helped close it with kills at 22-16 and on set point, giving AUM a 25-17 set win.

SET 2
AUM built a 13-7 advantage and later moved to set point at 24-22 on a block by
Jori Taylor and
Kinsley Kennedy, but Miles scored the final four points to take the second set 26-24.

SET 3
The Warhawks went ahead 5-3 on early kills from
Gabriella Wokatsch and Lacey, but Miles answered with nine consecutive points and took the set 25-13.

SET 4
The orange and black responded to a 24-17 deficit with five straight points, getting kills from Lacey, Daffin twice and Powell around a Miles attack error to pull within 24-22. Miles stopped the run with a kill to close out the set, 25-22.

- Lacey finished with 14 kills, five service aces and a team-high 20 points.
- Daffin matched Lacey with 14 kills and added 11 digs.
