COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks men's tennis team (2-4) dropped a 4-1 decision to the No. 9 Embry-Riddle Eagles (5-2) on Monday afternoon from the Wadlen Tennis Complex.

Embry-Riddle was tabbed ninth nationally in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Doubles
The Eagles saw victory at the No. 2 and 1 doubles positions, respectively, to claim the doubles point.
Harry McDonagh and
Mark Nawa were unable to finish their match at the No. 3 spot since the teams were playing to clinch.

Singles
Embry-Riddle earned wins at the No. 5 and 2 singles position to take a 3-0 lead.
Guillermo Vedia Sanchez was able to get the Warhawks on the board, defeating the Eagles' Lanteri Manuel 6-3, 7-5 at the No. 3 slot.

A 6-3, 6-3 win at the No. 6 spot for Embry-Riddle rounded out the scoring, resulting in a 4-1 loss for the orange and black.

Giuseppe Bonaiuti's No. 1 singles match and
Raphael Pertusier's No. 4 match were both left unfinished after the Eagles had clinched.
