MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Junior center fielder Christopher McNeill of the Auburn University at Montgomery baseball team has been named Warhawk of the Week, as announced by the AUM Athletics Department, Wednesday morning.  

McNeill's Weekend  
McNeill started in all three games against No. 21 Young Harris College, helping the Warhawks earn their first win of the season in the season opener, 6–5. On Friday, McNeill went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs, including a go-ahead solo homer in the eighth inning. He also drove in two runs earlier in the game to give AUM an early 3–0 lead. In the second game of the series, he went 2 for 4 at the plate, with a solo homerun and two RBIs on the day. 

On Sunday, McNeill capped a fifth-inning surge with a three-run home run. Over the weekend series, he totaled six hits, four home runs, eight RBIs, two runs scored, one stolen base, hitting .462.  

Season Snapshot 
Through the first four games of the 2026 season, McNeill has started all games in center field, with a .467 batting average and seven hits in 15 at-bats. He has driven in eight RBIs and hit four home runs, while scoring five runs and stealing one base. McNeill has also contributed defensively with seven putouts and a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000.

McNeill and the Warhawks will be back in action this weekend for a three game series against Southern Wesleyan with the first pitch set for 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
