TYLER, Texas – The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks men's tennis team (2-7) lost to the No. 5 University of Texas at Tyler Patriots (8-2) 4-0 on Sunday afternoon from the Summers Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Patriots swept three doubles matches to claim the first point of the day. The hosts continued to push ahead, clinching the match with singles with wins at the No. 2, 3, and 4 positions.Â

Giuseppe Bonaiuti put up a strong fight against UT Tyler's Artiom Dorofeev at the No. 1 singles spot; however, the match was left unfinished with Bonaiuti trailing 2-6, 6-6 (4-3). Courts five and six were also left unfinished, with
Augustin Wallaert and
Lucas Rosvall each leading 2-1 in the first set at their respective positions.
