MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Junior outfielder
Karris Rhine of the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks softball team has been named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.

RHINE'S REWARDING WEEK
Rhine started all five of AUM's wins last week and turned in an impressive all-around performance at the plate. She batted .429 (6-for-14), scoring seven runs while driving in seven RBI and drawing three walks. Rhine also showcased her power, posting a 1.071 slugging percentage with three home runs.

Her standout performance came in game three against Christian Brothers, where she launched two home runs to power the Warhawks to their first GSC series sweep of the season.

KARRIS KILLIN' IT
Rhine has been a key contributor for the Warhawks all season, batting .346 with 28 hits and 25 runs scored while posting a .630 slugging percentage and a .424 on-base percentage. She leads AUM with seven home runs, 22 RBI, and 51 total bases, while also going a perfect 14-for-14 on stolen base attempts. On the conference stage, Rhine ranks tied for sixth in runs scored (25), tied for fourth in home runs (7), sixth in stolen bases (14), and tied for 12th in RBI (22).

Rhine and the Warhawks will play a single midweek game against Columbus State on Wednesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. in Columbus, Georgia.
