Box Score PENSECOLA, Fla. – The No. 31 Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks men's tennis team (7-9, GSC: 4-2) dropped a 6-1 decision to the No. 1 West Florida Argos (17-1, GSC: 6-0) in Pensacola, Florida on Wednesday afternoon.

West Florida has occupied the No. 1 spot in the ITA rankings since March 18 after spending the previous four weeks at No. 2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Doubles
The Argos took the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and 3 positions. The match at the top position was left unfinished with
Giuseppe Bonaiuti and
Jami Savolainen leading 4-3 against UWF's Sebastian Rondon and Diego Duran.

Singles
The home team extended its lead to 6-0 with the first five singles wins. However,
Harry McDonagh put the orange and black on the board with a 0-6, 7-6, 7-6 (10-8) come from behind victory over West Florida's Vicente Couto.

The Argos ended the match with a 6-1 victory over the Warhawks, extending its win streak to 13 matches and bringing its undefeated conference record to 6-0.
