DICKSON, Tenn. - The Auburn University at Montgomery women's golf team remained in action at the Gulf South Conference Championship, held at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tennessee.
As a team, the Warhawks closed out the day in 8th place overall with a two-round total of 667 (+91). After two rounds of play, No. 26 University of West Florida holds the top spot with a score of 602 (+26). UWF's No. 27 Millie Thompson leads the individual standings with a 145 (+1).
RESULTS
- Ashley Nelson set the tone for day two, posting a 79 (+7) to bring her total to 157 (+13), tying her for 19th.
- Aubrie Medford turned in an 81(+9) during round two, moving to 165 (+21) overall and sitting tied for 29th.
- Georgia Cater followed closely, carding an 82 (+10) in the second round for a 166 (+22) total, placing her tied for 31st.
- Kyleigh Gibson posted a 92 (+20) in round two, bringing her total to 180 (+35), landing her in 40th.
- Hailey Westmoreland posted a 94 (+22) over round two, moving her total to 184 (+40) heading into the final round.
UP NEXT
The GSC Tournament will wrap up with the third round tomorrow, Wednesday, April 22, with AUM set for a 7:30 AM tee time.
