SAINT LEO, Fla. – The NCAA Division II Softball Committee announced the 2026 South Region bracket on Monday morning, with the four-seed Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks earning a spot in the NCAA South Regional.
 
After sweeping the Gulf South Conference Player and Pitcher of the Year awards and putting together a record-breaking regular season, the orange and black continue their postseason run as the No. 4 seed in the region.
 
The Warhawks will open regional play on Thursday, May 14 at 2 p.m. CT against fifth-seed Tampa in Saint Leo, Florida, where top-seeded Lions will host one of the South Region pods.

The winner of the Saint Leo Regional will face the winner of the Pensacola Regional in the Super Regionals. The Pensacola Regional features No. 2 West Florida, No. 3 West Alabama, No. 6 UAH, and No. 7 Montevallo.

SEND-OFF
The Warhawks will receive a send-off ahead of their postseason run on Tuesday afternoon. Fans are invited to gather outside the side of the AUM Athletics Complex for a 3:15 p.m. departure, with arrival suggested by 3 p.m. to help cheer on the team as they head to Saint Leo for NCAA Regional play.
