GREENWOOD, In. - College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District honorees for women's tennis, with Auburn University at Montgomery student-athletes Melissa Yakup Pour and Ana Clara Campigotto earning recognition.
Yakup Pour delivered a standout senior campaign at the top of the Warhawks lineup, earning First Team All-GSC honors while finishing the season ranked No. 14 nationally in singles and No. 22 in doubles.
Competing primarily at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions, she earned multiple ranked victories, including a win over No. 5 Emily Buchanan of No. 6 Mississippi College, handing Buchanan her first loss of the season. Yakup Pour was also a two-time GSC Player of the Week selection while helping lead the Warhawks against nationally ranked competition throughout the spring.
During her time at AUM, Yakup Pour has earned ITA Scholar Athlete Status, ITA All-Academic Team, and a member of Chi Alpha Sigma. She maintained a 3.66 GPA as a Finance major.
For the 2026 season, she was also recognized as the Individual Performance of the Year for his win against Mississippi College in singles and was a nominee for the Female Student Athlete of the Year for the Warhawk Choice Awards.

Campigotto competed throughout the season across the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions while also contributing in doubles play for the Warhawks. She recorded singles victories over Tuskegee, Christian Brothers, Augusta, and Montevallo while adding doubles wins against Tuskegee, North Georgia, UT Tyler, and No. 29 Lee. Campigotto helped AUM compete against several nationally ranked programs throughout the season while maintaining a 3.80 GPA as a General Business major.

The women's tennis team also earned the highest team GPA across all AUM athletic programs for the 2025 calendar year, finishing with a 3.81 cumulative GPA.
The Academic All-District Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom, requiring a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and significant athletic participation across NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA.
