KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced its College Team Academic Award winners for the 2025-26 academic year, with the Auburn University at Montgomery men's and women's soccer programs both earning recognition.
 
The College Team Academic Award recognizes programs that demonstrate excellence in the classroom. A total of 778 soccer teams (326 men's and 452 women's) earned the honor after posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. Additionally, 175 institutions had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
 
The AUM men's soccer team earned the award after compiling a 3.58 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, while the women's soccer team posted a 3.55 team GPA to also receive the honor.
