KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches released the latest edition of its 2026 NCAA Division II men's soccer poll Tuesday, with the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks holding at No. 4 in the nation and No. 1 in the South Region.

The No. 4 ranking remains the highest national ranking in program history, surpassing the previous mark of No. 5 set in 2024.

LAST WEEK
AUM played to a scoreless draw at Mississippi Christian on Saturday, with both teams finishing with six shots. The Warhawks recorded two shots on goal, while the Choctaws put three attempts on frame.

Jakob Buhrkuhl made three saves to keep Mississippi Christian off the scoreboard and record his sixth shutout of the season.
Fabio Guerreiro led the Warhawks with two shots, including one on target.

ON THE YEAR
The draw moved AUM to 8-1-1 overall and 5-0-1 in Gulf South Conference play. The Warhawks remain unbeaten in their last six matches and have not lost a conference match this season.

AUM continues to have several players among the GSC's statistical leaders.
Benjamin Hoffmann ranks fourth in the conference with 2.90 shots per game and eighth with 1.30 shots on goal per game. The Warhawks also have three players ranked among the league's top 10 in game-winning goals, with
Alan De Paula and
Jaden McKree each recording two and
Fabio Guerreiro adding one.

In goal, Buhrkuhl leads the GSC and ranks sixth nationally with both a .861 save percentage and six shutouts, while ranking among the conference leaders with a 0.56 goals-against average.

The Warhawks return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 7, hosting West Alabama at AUM Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
