MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 11 Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks men's soccer team (4-1-0, 1-0-0 GSC) opened Gulf South Conference play with a 1-0 victory over Lee University (3-1-2, 0-1-0 GSC) Saturday night at the AUM Soccer Stadium.
COACH THORNE'S COMMENTS
"Proud of this group. Any game in the GSC is tough, especially the opener against a very good side. Getting the win and the clean sheet was quality. For me, that was a fantastic team performance. We created so many chances and could have won by a lot more. The fact we can rotate so many players that can come in and give us a different dynamic will be vital down the stretch."
