MONTGOMERY, Ala. -Â The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Full Moon BBQ Invitational, hosted by Gulf South Conference foe Montevallo, in its first competition of the 2026 fall slate.
The tournament is being held at Timberline Golf Course in Calera, Alabama, which plays at 6,745 yards and is a par 71.

RESULTS
After two rounds, Mississippi Christian leads the tournament with a score of 585 (+17), while Union's Camille Burnette, Montevallo's Polly McCrackin, and Mississippi Christian's Sydney Moss are tied for first place individually with two-round totals of 144 (+2).
The Warhawks sit in sixth place after posting a two-round score of 635 (+67). AUM carded a 320 (+36) in the opening round before improving to a 315 (+31) in round two.

WARHAWK NUMBERS
- Ashley Nelson paced the orange and black, finishing the day in 10th place after posting rounds of 77 (+6) and 74 (+3) for a two-round total of 151 (+9).
- Newcomer Katie Brannon tied for 23rd in her first tournament as a Warhawk, carding a 76 (+5) in round one and an 82 (+11) in round two for a two-round total of 158 (+16).
- Hailey Westmoreland tied for 28th with a two-round score of 163 (+21). She carded an 83 (+12) in round one before improving to an 80 (+9) in round two.
- Skylar Benjamin also tied for 28th with a 163 (+21), carding an 84 (+13) in round one and a 79 (+8) in round two.
- Aubrie Medford totaled a 168 (+26), carding an 84 (+13) in both rounds to finish 38th.
- Taylor Hettenhausen competed as an individual, carding an 85 (+14) in each round to finish 41st with a two-round score of 170 (+28).
