Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics

Prior to AUM: Senior guard Tyson Sexton brings three seasons of Gulf South Conference experience to the Warhawks after competing at the University of Montevallo. The 6-foot-5 Scottsboro, Alabama, native appeared in all 31 games during the 2025-26 season, averaging 30.9 minutes per game while shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three-point range. He totaled 205 points, 159 rebounds, 48 assists, and 56 steals and earned GSC Winter Honor Roll recognition with the Falcons. Prior to Montevallo, Sexton was a standout at Scottsboro High School, earning Third Team All-State and 2023 Northeast 5A Regional Tournament MVP honors while helping lead the Wildcats to three consecutive Area Championships and two regional titles. He comes from an athletic family, as his sister, Keara, competed in collegiate women's basketball at Cumberland University. Sexton plans to continue pursuing his English degree at AUM.
