2020-21 [Senior]: Played in 26 sets for the Warhawks during the 2020-21 season… played in multiple positions for AUM including outside hitter and libero… was fifth on the team in kills with 32 after starting four matches and appearing in four more… had two 10-kill efforts in the shortened season, one against West Alabama in the season opener on February 24 and the other against Shorter on March 20… recorded her lone double-double of the season against the Lady Hawks with 10 digs… had a season-high 22 digs in the SCS semifinal against Alabama Huntsville on March 31.

2019 [Junior]: Played in 121 sets for AUM in her first season wearing the Orange & Black, one shy of the team lead… set the single season record in digs with 544 and became the programs all-time leader in digs/set with 4.46… notched a season-high 33 digs on November 2 against GSC foe Union… she also served time as an OH, netting eight kills in a contest on October 22 against Albany State… finished second on the team in service aces with 35.

Prior to AUM: Attended Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Fla and played under head coach Gary Corkin… also played for the Pasco Hernando State College Bobcats for two seasons… garnered NJCAO second-team all-American honors… was named PHSC MVP for the Catawba Invitational Tournament.        
Prep: Attended for Riccarton High School in Christ Church New Zealand… played four years of volleyball, three years of touch rugby, and two years of soccer.

Personal: Full name is Carla Sue Butler… is the daughter of Cecilia Butler… has two sisters, Samantha (31) and Kim (23)… was born August 30, 1998… has not decided on a major.
