QUOTING THE COACH
"Our girls ran extremely well," head coach Ryan Thompson said. "Benisse had a strong outing for us as well as Katelynn, Ansley, Victoria and Kelly. This was their first 5k run of the season and I feel like that held them back in the competition. There are still teams in front of us I think we can beat and we will look to finish strong at the conference championship in two weeks."

UP NEXT
The Warhawks will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 21 when they travel to Danville, Ala. to compete in the Gulf South Conference Championship.
