About the Warhawks
AUM (15-22, 5-16 GSC) hosts the Golden Rams after going 1-2 against Shorter University, winning the opening contest of a three-game GSC series 3-2 before falling to the visiting Hawks in the final two by scores of 11-2, 11-0.
 
Offensively, Auburn Montgomery is hitting .253 (285-1128) with a .340 slugging percentage off the strength of 40 doubles, four triple and 17 home runs while tallying 148 walks for a .357 on base percentage and 123 RBI. Senior infielder Nathan Langley leads three Warhawks hitting over .300 with a .385 average, followed by redshirt junior infielder Hayden Friesen and junior infielder Logan Nix with marks of .324 and .311, respectively. Langley also leads AUM in hits (52), walks (25), RBI (20), stolen bases (12), doubles (12), triples (two) slugging percentage (.548) and on base percentage (.479) while junior infielder Jonathan Brandt hits a team-best four home runs.
 
On the mound, AUM sports a 5.38 ERA while tallying 194 strikeouts with 92 walks in 296.0 innings of work to date. Redshirt sophomore right-handed pitcher Hank Scott logs a team-high 62.0 innings over 10 starts, tied with senior left-handed pitcher Garrett Deloney, to go with a team-leading four victories and 46 strikeouts. Freshman righty Sam Steigert makes a team-high 17 mound appearances with three saves while Langley holds a team-low 1.44 ERA with a .242 opposing batting average.
 
About the Golden Rams
Albany State (16-14, 7-4 SIAC) makes the trip to Montgomery after a doubleheader split at Claflin, falling in the opener 2-5 before besting the Panthers 8-7.
 
The Golden Rams are hitting .279 (266-955) as a team with a .415 slugging percentage coming from 46 doubles, six triples and 24 home runs while tallying 169 RBI and 147 walks. Rillani Familla leads ASU in RBI (43), total hits (42), runs scored (26) doubles (10) home runs (eight) slugging percentage (.729) and batting average (.393) while Chasen Roulhac draws 23 walks with 10 stolen bases.
