GREENWOOD, In. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All-District honorees for baseball on Tuesday afternoon, with five Auburn University at Montgomery student-athletes earning recognition for their performances on the field and in the classroom.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Position players must compete in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start at least 66 percent of contests. Pitchers must make at least 17 appearances or pitch a minimum of 35 innings during the season.
Drew Cashin, Kobe Wiggins, Kyle Hipp, Luke Turner, and Christopher McNeill each met the criteria to earn CSC Academic All-District honors.
Drew Cashin | Junior | Secondary Education Major | 4.0 GPA
Cashin earned CSC Academic All-District honors after posting a perfect 4.0 GPA while serving as a key member of the Warhawks' pitching staff. The junior made 13 appearances with 12 starts during the 2026 season, recording four wins and 43 strikeouts across 55.1 innings pitched.
Among his top performances, Cashin tossed a season-high eight innings in a victory over Christian Brothers, allowing just one earned run while striking out five. He also delivered a dominant outing against Valdosta State, giving up only one hit across 5.1 scoreless innings while striking out seven in a 19-0 victory.

Kobe Wiggins | Junior | Interdisciplinary Studies Major | 3.79 GPA
Wiggins earned CSC Academic All-District honors after maintaining a 3.79 GPA. He appeared in 16 games, including one start, posting a 3-2 record with 28 strikeouts across 36 innings of work.
He delivered several key performances throughout the season, including a five-inning relief appearance against West Florida in which he struck out four batters while allowing just two runs. Wiggins also earned victories over No. 21 Young Harris, No. 11 West Alabama, and Christian Brothers, while recording multiple outings of at least five innings.

Kyle Hipp | Senior | Marketing Major | 3.60 GPA
Hipp maintained a 3.60 GPA while majoring in Marketing, earning CSC Academic All-District honors. A versatile infielder, he started 45 games for the Warhawks during the 2026 season, splitting time between first and second base.
At the plate, Hipp batted .259 with 38 hits, 23 runs scored, 28 RBI, eight home runs, and six doubles.

Luke Turner | Sophomore | General Business Major | 4.0 GPA
Turner maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA while pursuing a degree in General Business to earn his spot on the CSC All-District Honoree list. He appeared in 36 games with 36 starts, serving as a key contributor in the outfield and at designated hitter.
Turner finished the season batting .321 with 43 hits, 23 runs scored, 26 RBI, seven doubles, and five home runs. He ranked among the team's leading hitters while reaching base consistently throughout the season, helping anchor the Warhawks' lineup.

Christopher McNeill | Junior | Criminal Justice Major | 4.0 GPA
McNeill also earned CSC All-District, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA while pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. He was also recognized for his outstanding season on the field, earning Second Team All-Gulf South Conference honors.
The junior started all 47 games he appeared in and finished the season batting .343 with 59 hits, 45 runs scored, 30 RBI, 11 doubles, two triples, and eight home runs. He also drew 20 walks and stole nine bases while posting a .980 fielding percentage.
