CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Auburn Montgomery women's tennis team won a 6-3 decision over Gulf South Conference foe Lee University on Friday afternoon, earning two points for a pair of doubles victories before winning four singles matches to secure the victory on the campus of the Flames.

• No. 2 Singles: Asia Grzegrzolka (Lee) defeated Sofia Navarro (AUM) 6-3, 2-6, 10-7
• No. 3 Singles: Carley Sickinger (Lee) defeated Tonja Foessmeier (AUM) 6-0, 6-2
• No. 4 Singles: Alejandra Gil (AUM) defeated Laura-Beth Hardesty (Lee) 6-1, 6-0
• No. 5 Singles: Alba De la Torre (AUM) defeated Nicole Shennett (Lee) 6-2, 6-2
• No. 6 Singles: Julia Enderink (AUM) won by default
 
• No. 1 Doubles: Garcia Nieto and Sickinger (Lee) defeated Enderink and Navarro (AUM) 8-5

UP NEXT
The Warhawks will close out the 2018 season this Sunday when they host GSC foe Mississippi College in a dual match set to begin at 12 p.m. at the AUM Tennis Complex. Senior Alejandra Gil will be honored before the match, as she will be playing her final contest as a Warhawk.
